Provide technical support for non-conformances, investigation and review boards, and structured problem-solving activities.\n- Design for Manufacture & Assembly: Champion DfMA principles, promoting standardised and qualified manufacturing processes and ensuring product designs are compatible with manufacturing capabilities.\n- Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify manufacturing and operational risks, develop appropriate mitigations, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing capability, efficiency and competitiveness.\n- Programme & Business Alignment: Work across multidisciplinary and matrix teams to implement Product Line manufacturing strategies, manage technical and programme priorities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and statutory requirements.\n Your Profile\n- Engineering Experience: Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience, with at least five years' engineering experience in the space, aerospace or military electronics sector.\n- Electronics Manufacturing: Experience and working knowledge of high-reliability electronics manufacturing, including surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly and radio-frequency (RF) products.\n- NPI & Product Lifecycle: Understanding of the product lifecycle from design through to production, including formal engineering reviews, programme control, risk management and cost control.\n- Manufacturing Processes & Systems: General awareness of manufacturing systems and tools, such as CAD/CAM, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP and technical publications.\n- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Demonstrable ability to investigate manufacturing issues, implement effective solutions and drive improvements in processes, capability and operational performance.\n- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working effectively in multidisciplinary teams and matrix organisations, influencing stakeholders at all levels and taking ownership of deliverables.\nIf you're excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we stillencourage you to apply, your uniqueexperience could be just what we need.\n Make it real - what does it mean for you?\nExposure to top global companies working withCapgemini (145 of the Fortune 500 companies)\nOpen access to digital learning platforms\nActive employee networks promoting diversity, equity and inclusion like OutFront, CapAbility or Women@Capgemini\nCapgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.
