Where no two days are the same.\nLocation\nThis is Remote role in North America.\nAbout the role you're considering\nThe NX Customization Developer works closely with engineering, PLM, and CAD teams to deliver tailored solutions that extend NX’s out of the box capabilities. The role involves automating repetitive CAD tasks, creating user friendly interfaces, integrating NX with PLM systems, and ensuring high quality, maintainable code.\n Your Role\nDevelop and maintain custom applications using NX Open (C#, VB.NET).\nStrong Programming skills.\nSolid mathematical skills, particularly in geometry.\nDevelop custom menus, dialogs, and UI components using Block Styler and NX Open UI APIs.\nDevelop NXOpen custom application w.r.t integration with Teamcenter.\nExperience in developing checkmate tools.\nTroubleshoot and resolve NX customization issues.\nEnsure adherence to coding standards.\nPrepare technical documentation and provide user support.\nWork closely with engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.\nIntegration: Connect NX with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter via SOA/ITK) for seamless data exchange.\n Your skills and experience\n3-7+ years of experience in CAD customization, with at least 2-3 years in NX Open development\nDeep knowledge of NX Open API (Common API, Wrapped/Unwrapped UFUNC)\nProficiency in C# (.NET), VB, or C/C++\nExperience with NX Open, Journaling, UFUNC, and related frameworks\nFamiliarity with HTML/XML data processing and scripting\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC processes\nDomain:\nStrong understanding of 3D/2D parametric CAD and expression handling\nExperience in surface modelling and CAD/CAE customization\nExposure to PLM integration (Teamcenter)\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911 - $161,544/Year\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
