Our work is informed by data and science, superpowered by creativity and design, and underpinned by technology created with purpose.\nThis is an opportunity to play a senior leadership role in our growing UK Procurement capability, working with industry-leading clients to shape and deliver ambitious procurement transformation programmes across strategy, operating model, digital enablement, cost reduction and sustainable value creation.\nYour Role\nAs a Senior Manager in our Procurement Transformation practice, you will play a leading role in growth, shape and delivery of a broad portfolio of procurement transformation programmes. You will work with Directors and CPOs and other senior client stakeholders to build compelling transformation cases, and deliver measurable business outcomes across cost, service, resilience, sustainability and technology-enabled performance.\nYou will lead teams to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary consulting engagements across the full procurement lifecycle. This will include pure procurement management consulting projects, large-scale cost reduction programmes, procurement transformation, Source-to-Pay optimisation, operating model redesign, Global Business Services (GBS) constructs, digital procurement enablement and emerging AI/agent-led procurement innovation.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for:\nLeading the design and delivery of major procurement transformation programmes such as cost reduction, operating model redesign, process optimisation, value creation and procurement capability development\nDelivering a £1m yearly sales target by driving business development through account management, proposal leadership, RFP responses, client pitches and proposition development \nAdvising clients across the full Source-to-Pay lifecycle, including category management, sourcing, supplier management, contracting, purchasing, invoice processing and supplier performance.\nBringing a broad understanding of procurement technology, data and digital enablement, including the underpinning IT landscape across Source-to-Contract, Purchase-to-Pay and invoice processing\nContributing to the Practices' informed point of view on the use of AI and agents across procurement, from category strategy and market intelligence through to sourcing, supplier performance, buying channels, invoicing and exception management\nLeading complex delivery teams, ensuring effective project mobilisation, governance, quality, commercials and on-time delivery in line with client outcomes and Capgemini Invent delivery standards.\nAs part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:\nBusiness Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.\n Internal Contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.\nLearning & Development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.\nYour Profile\nYou will bring significant procurement transformation experience, strong consulting credentials and the ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders.\nYou will have demonstrable experience across a strong mix of the following:\nPrevious consulting experience, ideally gained within major consulting firms, ideally working at a similar level to this role\nAbility to lead complex procurement transformation programmes across a variety of client environments\nPrevious experience of generating consulting revenue through business development activities\nMulti-sector experience across public sector, aerospace and defence, consumer products, retail and life sciences\nDeep experience in procurement strategy, transformation, process design and optimisation\nExpertise in designing procurement operating models, including Global Business Services (GBS), shared services, process ownership, governance, capability models and transition roadmaps\nBroad understanding of procurement processes across Source-to-Contract, Purchase-to-Pay and invoice processing\nStrong understanding of procurement technology and leading procurement solutions, including their capabilities, implementation considerations and role within wider enterprise architecture\nA developing perspective on AI, automation and agent-led procurement transformation, including how agents may reshape category management, sourcing, supplier management, operational buying, invoicing and compliance\nExperience using digital technologies, data-led insight and automation to support procurement transformation and benefits realisation\nStrong people and team leadership experience, with a passion for coaching, developing teams and building internal capability. \nAdvantageous experience:\nDesigning procurement category strategies across direct or indirect spend\nSupplier relationship management, supplier risk, sustainability-led procurement, supplier performance and third-party resilience\nContributing to market-facing propositions around procurement transformation, GBS, digital procurement, AI-enabled procurement or Source-to-Pay optimisation\nManufacturing, automotive and other complex operational environments\nCIPS or equivalent professional accreditation would be valued. \nWhat You'll Love About Working Here\nYou will be part of a team that is actively shaping thinking around the changing procurement landscape in a digitally enabled world.
