The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming expertise and experience in building robust, scalable solutions. In addition to core Python skills, the candidate should be comfortable working with data workflows, automation, and geospatial processing.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support business processes.\nAutomate manual workflows, including uploading inputs into existing scripts, and design simple UI components where needed.\nImplement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.\nIntegrate and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval.\nPerform data extraction and parsing from third-party APIs.\nUtilize tools like Alteryx or similar for data transformation and analytics.\nSupport GIS mapping tasks, including:\nDeveloping scripts to subdivide acreage polygons into standard DSUs based on predefined inputs.\nAutomating visualization of well placements and acreage layouts.\nEnsuring spatial integrity by snapping edges and preventing orphaned areas.\nRequired Skills\nExpertise in Python programming and scripting.\nStrong understanding of database interaction (SQL or NoSQL).\nExperience with data automation and building lightweight UIs.\nKnowledge of data quality frameworks and validation techniques.\nFamiliarity with Alteryx or equivalent ETL/data processing tools.\nAbility to work with APIs for data extraction and integration.\nExposure to GIS concepts and libraries (e.g., GeoPandas, Shapely, QGIS).\nJob Description - Grade Specific\nHas more than a year of relevant work experience.
