The role focuses on release governance, build and deployment management, pipeline oversight, go-live readiness, production validation, and enabling reliable DevOps practices across delivery teams.\nThe individual must be highly self-driven with strong communication, stakeholder management, and release governance skills, capable of driving multiple cross-functional teams through defined stage gates, checklists, and release milestones with minimal supervision. This is an onsite role requiring extensive coordination across business, development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage end-to-end release planning, coordination, and execution for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Edge APIs, Jutro).\nOversee build, deployment, and pipeline management activities across lower and higher environments.\nDrive go-live readiness reviews, deployment planning, and production release execution.\nValidate builds, fixes, and deployment packages prior to production implementation.\nCoordinate post-production validation, checkout activities, and hypercare support following releases.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.\nImplement branching strategies, code repository standards, and version control practices (Git/Azure Repos).\nSet up automated testing, static code analysis, quality gates, and security scans.\nTroubleshoot pipeline failures and environment configuration issues.\nOptimize release processes, deployment automation, and pipeline reliability.\nCreate reusable pipeline templates and DevOps automation scripts.\nDrive release governance through stage gates, readiness checkpoints, and deployment checklists.\nCoordinate across Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, CloudOps, Business, and Vendor teams to ensure release readiness.\nFacilitate release status reviews, risk assessments, dependency tracking, and issue resolution.\nEnsure all release entry and exit criteria are met before progressing through deployment stages.\nTrack release risks, dependencies, issues, and rollback plans.\nProvide leadership and direction during release cycles while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.\nDrive execution with minimal supervision and ensure accountability across participating teams.\nRequired Skills\nStrong experience in Guidewire Release Management, DevOps, and deployment activities.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.\nGood understanding of Guidewire build, deployment, and release processes.\nExperience managing production deployments and go-live activities.\nStrong scripting knowledge: YAML, Shell, PowerShell, Python.\nStrong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\nProven experience coordinating multiple teams across large-scale release programs.\nExperience defining and driving release checklists, stage gates, governance controls, and readiness reviews.\nExperience with release governance, change management, and deployment planning.\nHighly self-driven and capable of leading release activities with minimal guidance.\nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management capabilities.\nKnowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.\nFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics.'\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$140000- $160000\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
