They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.\nJob Description - Grade Specific\nSAP P2P Consultant\nThe SAP P2P Consultant is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing Procure-to-Pay business processes within SAP environments. This role requires strong functional expertise in procurement, purchasing, supplier management, inventory management, invoice processing, and payment workflows, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.\nThe consultant partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to analyze current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend best-practice SAP solutions. The individual should possess deep knowledge of SAP P2P processes and related integrations with modules such as MM, FI/AP, SD, WM/EWM, and Ariba (where applicable).\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead requirements gathering workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders.\nAnalyze existing procurement and accounts payable processes and recommend improvements.\nConfigure and implement SAP P2P solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.\nSupport end-to-end project activities including design, build, testing, training, deployment, and hypercare support.\nPrepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on developments and integrations.\nConduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.\nProvide subject matter expertise on procurement, sourcing, purchasing, invoice verification, and supplier management processes.\nAdvise clients on SAP functionality, process optimization, and transformation initiatives including S/4HANA migrations.\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies, controls, and procurement governance standards.\nContribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and stay current with SAP innovations and industry trends.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nStrong experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Procure-to-Pay processes.\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, or support engagements.\nIn-depth understanding of purchasing, inventory management, invoice management, vendor master data, and integration with Finance.\nStrong consulting, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.\nAbility to lead process improvement initiatives and provide strategic recommendations.\nExperience supporting testing cycles, training activities, and change management efforts.\nSAP certifications in MM, S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, or related areas are highly preferred.\nThis role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them streamline procurement operations, improve process efficiency, and maximize the value of their SAP investments.\nCapgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
