This role is ideal for experienced SAP leaders who enjoy solving complex challenges, shaping Strategic Technology Leadership, and developing high-performing technical teams.\nAs SAP Technical Authority, you will combine deep technical expertise with business focus, big-picture thinking, and collaborative ownership to shape Strategic Technology Leadership across a major SAP transformation programme. You will influence enterprise architecture decisions, guide delivery teams, and help clients maximize the value of their SAP investment.\nLead the design and delivery of SAP technical solutions across WRICEF objects within complex SAP Tax & Revenue Management environments.\nAct as the technical authority for SAP development, overseeing Client-Centric Solution Ownership, Engineering Excellence, quality, performance and overall Collaborative Governance.\nCollaborate with architects, functional leads, and business stakeholders to define scalable and maintainable solutions.\nDrive adoption of modern SAP capabilities including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud extension approaches.\nLead and mentor development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nConduct design reviews, architecture assurance, and code quality governance activities.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for clients and stakeholders.\nSupport solution shaping, Strategic Technology Leadership, client workshops, and business development activities.\nChampion best SAP practice and continuous improvement across the SAP capability.\nYour skills and experience\nTechnical Expertise\nDeep expertise in SAP ABAP, including ABAP Objects, WDA, BRF+, Workflow, NetWeaver Gateway Services, and Integration.\nStrong S/4HANA development experience including S/4 Migration, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, code pushdown, and HANA-optimised development.\nExperience designing and governing complex SAP solutions across large enterprise landscapes.\nExperience in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.\nExposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and cloud-based extension frameworks.\nStrong understanding of SAP architecture, security, and performance optimisation.\nExposure to SAP Tax & Revenue Management (TRM), PSCD, and related SAP Modules.\nKnowledge of FI, CRM, and HR processes and end-to-end business data flows.\nExpertise in ECC and/or S/4HANA transformation programmes.\nProven ability to lead technical teams and influence architecture decisions.\nStrong stakeholder management and consulting skills across technical and business audiences.\nExperience mentoring and developing SAP professionals.\nAbility to navigate ambiguity and solve complex challenges within large-scale enterprise environments.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.\nWe are a Disability Confident Employer\nCapgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.\nAs part of our commitment to inclusive recruitment, we will offer an interview to all candidates who:\nDeclare they have a disability, and\nMeet the minimum essential criteria for the role.\nPlease opt in during the application process.\nYour security clearance and pre-employment checks\nTo be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.\nTo obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.\nThroughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.\nSome posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.\nMake it real - what does it mean for you?\nYou’d be joining an accredited Great Place to work for Wellbeing in 2024.
