  • Support incident resolution and ensure service continuity.
  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to Capgemini’s engineering communities of practice.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts and business teams.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience as a Data Engineer delivering large-scale, complex data solutions.
  • Expertise in building solutions using SAS 9.x and SAS Viya 3.x/4 (ideally tooling such as SAS Studio, Visual Analytics, Visual Investigator, VDMML, Intelligence Decisioning, Environment Manager).
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and ETL.
  • Experience designing and implementing batch scheduling solutions, including job and flow deployment using Airflow and/or native SAS schedulers.
  • Knowledge of SAS performance optimisation, including database connectivity.
  • Ability to partner with Architects to design robust, scalable solutions.
  • Ability to incorporate CI/CD best practices into development workflows.
  • Excellent client-facing and consultancy skills.

Your security clearance
