The primary focus is on maintaining platform reliability, investigating complex production issues, and supporting a highly distributed ecosystem of services, integrations, and data flows.\nYou will work in an environment where rare and difficult-to-reproduce production anomalies can occur across multiple interconnected services. Success in this role requires deep expertise in NestJS, Redis, and distributed systems, combined with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.\nLocation: Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)\nThis position follows a hybrid working model with 1 day per week onsite presence in Budapest. We are currently considering applicants who are based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary.\nYOU WILL\nSupport and maintain business-critical backend services built with Node.js, NestJS, and Redis\nInvestigate complex production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues through resolution\nAnalyze logs, traces, monitoring data, and application behavior to diagnose system anomalies\nTroubleshoot distributed systems, microservices, integrations, and high-volume data flows\nSupport and optimize Redis-based workloads, caching strategies, and platform performance\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement\nParticipate in on-call rotations and communicate incident impact and resolution plans to stakeholders\nContribute to knowledge sharing, observability improvements, and platform stability initiatives\nYOU HAVE\nStrong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and Redis\nExperience designing, operating, and troubleshooting microservice-based architectures\nProven experience supporting production systems and managing live incidents\nStrong debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills\nExperience with REST API integrations and distributed systems\nExperience working with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)\nKnowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices\nAbility to work independently in complex environments with limited documentation\nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nNice to Have\nTerraform\nBigQuery\nEvent-driven architectures\nCI/CD pipelines\nConversational platforms or chatbot ecosystems\nAI-enabled platforms and integrations\nReact\nWHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE\nAccess our education library with 250,000+ courses, certifications, and learning resources;\nWell-being Hub: The global Well-Being Hub connects employees across various facets of well-being: work-life balance, working hours and network growth;\nWe value flexibility -
