Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.\nJob Description\nRole Overview:\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst / Data Migration Specialist to support data transformation or migration between Salesforce and surrounding eco system including DataStage, Snowflake, Tableau and any legacy applications. The ideal candidate will have strong business-facing skills combined with hands-on experience analyzing data, defining migration requirements, and supporting the movement of data from legacy/source systems to target platforms.\nThe individual will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, architects, developers, and QA to understand business requirements and translate them into clear data mapping, transformation, migration, and validation requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEngage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, data usage, and reporting needs.\nLead requirements gathering and facilitate discussions between business and technology teams.\nAnalyze source and target systems to understand data structures, relationships, dependencies, and constraints.\nDefine and document source-to-target mappings, business rules, transformation logic, and data migration requirements.\nIdentify data quality issues, gaps, anomalies, duplicates, and migration risks and work with stakeholders to determine remediation approaches.\nPerform data analysis and profiling using SQL and related tools.\nWork closely with Data Engineers/ETL teams supporting migration and transformation activities.\nSupport data reconciliation and validation to ensure completeness and accuracy following migration.\nDefine business acceptance criteria and support SIT/UAT and post-migration validation.\nAnalyze downstream impacts of migrated data, particularly for Tableau reporting and analytics.\nWork within a data environment involving Snowflake, IBM DataStage, and Tableau.\nClearly communicate complex data issues, constraints, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Migration Specialist, preferably within large enterprise environments.\nStrong experience with end-to-end data migration / system conversion projects.\nExcellent requirements elicitation and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data transformation, data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation.\nStrong SQL and analytical skills.\nExperience with Salesforce, Snowflake, IBM DataStage or comparable ETL/data integration platforms and Tableau is a plus.\nDeep understanding of reporting and downstream data dependencies.\nAbility to identify and articulate data constraints, dependencies, risks, and business impacts.\nStrong documentation and communication skills.\nFinancial services/banking experience would be an asset.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 85,000 - 95,652.\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
