You’ll take ownership of complex features and services, contribute to architectural decisions and help teams deliver reliable, maintainable software.\nYou’ll:\nDesign, build, test, deploy and support production-grade applications across frontend and backend technologies. \nTake ownership of complex features and services across the software development lifecycle, from technical discovery and design through to deployment and production support. \nWork with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, Engineers and client stakeholders to turn user and business requirements into effective technical solutions. \nHelp shape application architecture, APIs, integration patterns, data flows and cloud solutions, making pragmatic technical decisions and explaining the trade-offs involved. \nBuild responsive, accessible and performant user experiences using modern frontend engineering approaches. \nDevelop backend services and APIs that are secure, scalable, resilient and maintainable. \nChampion engineering quality through automated testing, code review, secure development, CI/CD, observability and effective production support. \nLead technical discussions and code reviews, helping teams make good engineering decisions and navigate complex technical problems. \nMentor and support other developers through pairing, coaching, knowledge sharing and constructive technical feedback. \nContribute reusable patterns, components and approaches that improve engineering quality and developer experience across the wider team. \nExplore appropriate uses of AI-assisted engineering and automation to improve productivity and software quality, following relevant client and Capgemini policies and approvals. \nYou can bring your whole self to work.
