You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production and development environments, enabling smooth deployments and efficient workflows and ensure global connectivity.\nKey Responsibilities:\nImplement and maintain a global infrastructure.\nMonitor performance and optimize resource utilization.\nTroubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure high availability and stability.\nDesign, build, and optimize automation tools that allow automated infrastructure deployment.\nCollaborate with development teams to ensure their needs on connectivity and addresses any pain points.\nProvide technical guidance and support to development teams on utilizing infrastructure and connectivity components effectively.\nDevelop self-service tools and documentation to enable developers to manage their own deployments and environments.\nFoster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the development and operations teams.\nParticipate in incident response and resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.\nContinuously analyze and improve the performance, reliability, and security of production environments.\n Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.\nOutstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal.\nStrong infrastructure expertise: Deep understanding of networking, architecture, Linux, automation and security. Hands-on experience with deploying and managing infrastructure on larger scale.\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform or Ansible for managing infrastructure.\nCloud infrastructure knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.\nScripting and automation skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and tool integration.\nTroubleshooting and problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.\nCollaboration and communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nFirewall infrastructure knowledge: Experience with firewalls like FortiGate.\nMonitoring and observability: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Cribl, and Splunk for monitoring and analyzing application and infrastructure performance.\nSecurity best practices: Understanding of security principles and best practices for securing containerized environments.\nCI/CD proficiency: Proven experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or similar tools.
