As part of this journey, you’ll contribute to the launch of a new Tech Hub in Porto, helping to drive innovative, technology-led solutions that are transforming how businesses move while contributing to a more sustainable future.\nYOUR ROLE\nOwn the end-to-end deployment, operation and lifecycle management of ML and AI solutions in production.\nDesign and maintain CI/CD, continuous training, model serving, monitoring, retraining and rollback processes.\nTransform data science prototypes into scalable, production-grade services and APIs.\nIntegrate ML and AI models into operational business systems while ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.\nBuild and manage feature pipelines, model registries and reusable MLOps frameworks.Implement model, data and prediction drift monitoring, alerting and incident management processes.\nDrive deployment strategies including shadow, canary and champion-challenger releases.\nSupport production LLM and agent-based solutions through evaluation pipelines, tracing, versioning and guardrails.\nManage AI workload costs, latency and platform dependencies.\nDefine engineering standards, perform code reviews and mentor ML Engineers and Data Scientists on production best practices.\nYOUR PROFILE\n5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering or MLOps, including 2+ years deploying and operating ML models in production.\nStrong experience building production-ready machine learning platforms and services.\nProduction-quality Python, including testing, packaging, API design and code review.\nProven track record integrating ML models into business-critical operational systems.\nSolid understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including governance, monitoring, retraining and incident management.\nStrong collaboration skills across Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Product and Platform teams.\nExperience working with production environments requiring high availability, performance and scalability.\nKnowledge of AI governance, model traceability and production controls.\nExposure to real-time decisioning, fintech, fraud or credit-risk environments is a plus.\nExperience supporting LLM-based and Generative AI applications in production environments is highly valued.\nWHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE\nAt Capgemini Portugal we have a flexible and dynamic work environment.
