The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, RESTful API design, data processing, and cloud technologies, with a passion for delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable software.\nYOUR TASKS\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Python.\nBuild and support RESTful APIs utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.\nDevelop and optimize database solutions, write complex SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.\nImplement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using modern security standards and libraries.\nIntegrate external systems and services through APIs and cloud-based platforms.\nDevelop data processing workflows for handling structured business data and file-based integrations.\nImplement observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to ensure application reliability and performance.\nParticipate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.\nEnsure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.\nYOUR PROFILE\nStrong hands-on experience with Python development.\nProven experience building REST APIs using one or more of FastAPI, Flask, Django, Gunicorn.\nSolid experience with SQL and relational databases.\nExperience working with authentication and security libraries, including google-auth, cryptography, oauthlib, requests-oauthlib.\nExperience implementing application monitoring and observability using OpenTelemetry API, OpenTelemetry SDK, OpenTelemetry Instrumentation (Flask, Requests).\nExperience with data processing and file handling using xlrd, xlwt, simplejson.\nFamiliarity with utility libraries such as requests, PyYAML, jsonschema\nUnderstanding of software design principles, API best practices, and secure coding standards.\nExperience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.\nNice to have:\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nWhat you will love about working here?\nWe care about all our employees and want them to feel as comfortable as possible.
