Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.\nYOUR ROLE\nWe are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our teams in Lisbon and contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions within the Banking and Financial Services sector.\nOwn and execute end-to-end testing activities across complex backend systems and applications.\nDesign, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases for APIs, databases, batch processing, and business-critical workflows.\nPerform backend validation, including database testing, data reconciliation, and batch processing verification.\nDevelop and maintain automated test suites using Karate Framework.\nValidate functional and non-functional requirements, including boundary and performance testing.\nManage defects throughout the testing lifecycle and collaborate with development and business teams to ensure timely resolution.\nContribute to CI/CD testing activities and quality gates within Azure DevOps pipelines.\nWork closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business requirements.\nYOUR PROFILE\n5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.\nStrong experience in Backend Testing, including API Testing, Database Validation, and Batch Processing Validation.\nHands-on experience with test automation using Karate Framework.\nSolid Functional and Manual Testing expertise, including test design techniques, boundary testing, test execution, and defect management.\nStrong SQL knowledge with practical experience in joins, aggregations, subqueries, and data validation.\nExperience working with Azure DevOps, including test management and CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities.\nPrevious experience in Banking or Financial Services environments.\nKnowledge of domains such as UTP, Credit Scoring, Loans, Risk Management, and Loan Restructuring is highly valued.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nWHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?\nAt Capgemini Portugal we have a flexible and dynamic work environment.
