Working alongside SAP solution architects, data engineers, analytics consultants and business transformation specialists, you will play a key role in delivering next-generation SAP data platforms built on SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP S/4HANA.\nAs part of Capgemini's wider SAP Centre of Excellence, you will collaborate with global delivery teams and technology partners while supporting clients across multiple sectors, including Financial Services, Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Utilities and Public Sector.\nThe focus of your role\nAs a Senior SAP Datasphere & Business Data Cloud Consultant, you will lead the design and implementation of modern SAP data and analytics solutions that enable organisations to unlock value from both SAP and non-SAP data sources.\nYou will advise clients on data strategy, architecture, governance and analytics transformation programmes while helping organisations transition from traditional SAP BW environments towards SAP's strategic cloud-based data platform.\nKey responsibilities will include:\nLeading the design and implementation of SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud solutions.\nDesigning logical and physical data models to support enterprise reporting, analytics and AI use cases.\nBuilding semantic business layers and business-ready data products within SAP Datasphere.\nDeveloping data integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur and non-SAP applications.\nAdvising clients on SAP data modernisation strategies, including BW, BW/4HANA and cloud migration roadmaps.\nDelivering data federation, replication and virtualisation solutions using SAP Datasphere capabilities.\nSupporting analytics and reporting initiatives leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.\nCollaborating with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nLeading workshops, solution design sessions and client demonstrations.\nSupporting pre-sales activities, proposal development and client bids.\nProviding technical leadership, mentoring junior consultants and promoting delivery excellence.\nContributing to Capgemini's SAP Data & Analytics capability development and innovation initiatives.\nRemaining current with SAP's strategic data and AI roadmap, including Business Data Cloud, Joule AI capabilities and SAP's Business Data Fabric approach.\nWhat you'll bring\nEssential Skills and Experience:\nStrong hands-on experience delivering SAP Datasphere solutions in enterprise environments.\nExperience implementing SAP Business Data Cloud or equivalent SAP cloud data management technologies.\nStrong understanding of SAP's Business Data Fabric architecture and data product concepts.\nExperience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources into cloud analytics platforms.\nStrong data modelling expertise, including analytical models, semantic layers and virtualised data architectures.\nExperience designing and implementing enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.\nStrong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and business processes.\nExperience with SQL, data transformation and data integration technologies.\nStrong stakeholder management and consulting skills.\nExperience leading workshops, requirements gathering and solution design activities.\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments.\nProven experience mentoring junior consultants and leading workstreams on large transformation programmes.\nDesirable Skills and Experience:\nSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation experience.\nExperience with SAP BW, BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.\nSAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics expertise.\nKnowledge of SAP HANA, SQLScript and native HANA modelling.\nExperience with SAP Data Intelligence or SAP Integration Suite.\nUnderstanding of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).\nKnowledge of data governance, metadata management and data quality frameworks.\nExperience supporting AI and machine learning use cases using enterprise data platforms.\nPublic Sector, Defence, Financial Services or regulated industry experience.\nExperience with hyperscaler cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.\nSAP certifications in SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud or Business Data Cloud technologies.\nAdditional Information\nHybrid Working: This role follows Capgemini's hybrid-first model, with a blend of home working, Capgemini office locations and client-site attendance depending on project requirements.\nSuccessful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening checks, including right-to-work verification, employment history validation and criminal record screening where applicable.\nWhat we'll offer you\nYou will be encouraged to have a positive work-life balance.
