This role will support cross-functional teams responsible for building and modernizing enterprise data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, SAP Datasphere, Power BI and related cloud data technologies.\nThe ideal candidate possesses strong Agile leadership skills, experience managing data and analytics programs, and the ability to facilitate collaboration among business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, analytics teams, and platform delivery teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering enterprise data platform and geospatial / digital twin capabilities.\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.\nDrive delivery of data platform modernization initiatives involving: Microsoft Fabric\nSAP Datasphere\nData integration\nData migration\nAnalytics solutions (such as Awesense TGI)\nPower BI visualization\nPartner with Product Owner, business analysts and business stakeholders to prioritize and manage product backlogs.\n\nCollaborate with architects, data engineers, BI developers, testers and Program manager(s) to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.\nTrack sprint progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and impediments, ensuring timely resolution.\nAct as an Agile coach and promote Agile leading practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams. \nMonitor team velocity, sprint metrics, and release readiness.\nCoordinate activities across multiple teams and vendors in complex enterprise environments.\nSupport release planning, organizational change management (training and stakeholder communications).\nFoster a culture of transparency, accountability, and high-performing Agile teams.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments.\nExperience leading projects involving Data & Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence initiatives.\nStrong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.\nExperience managing cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.\nProven ability to remove impediments and facilitate collaboration among technical and business stakeholders.\nStrong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience with Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).\nExperience in large-scale data transformation or modernization programs.\nUnderstanding of cloud data platforms, data governance, metadata management, and data integration concepts.\nExperience delivering solutions on Microsoft Fabric (OneLake).\nExperience supporting analytics and reporting initiatives using Power BI.\nFamiliarity with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP data ecosystems.\nNice to Have\nKnowledge of Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, and Data Mesh concepts.\nExperience working within Azure Cloud and Cloud Data Platform environments.\nExposure to enterprise data governance and master data management initiatives.\nExperience supporting distributed and global teams.\nSuccess Measures\nConsistent sprint delivery and achievement of program milestones.\nImproved team velocity and Agile maturity.\nEffective management of dependencies, risks, and impediments.\nSuccessful delivery of enterprise data platform modernization capabilities.\nHigh stakeholder and business partner satisfaction.\nJob Description\nThe Scrum Master ensures that the Scrum team’s primary focus is on delivering value effectively. To achieve this, the team embodies the Agile values and principles, exhibits Agile behaviors and follows the events, artifacts, roles and good practices of Scrum and other frameworks as they are applicable to their situation. They are a Servant Leader, guiding, coaching and teaching team members. They are a liaison between the Scrum team and people or teams outside the Scrum team. With their experience, they are accountable for a Scrum team’s effectiveness, by helping them remove impediments or blockers within the team, other teams, and across the organization. They support the Product Owner, sharing techniques to define the product goal and better manage the product backlog. Their coaching helps the Product Owner to establish an empirical process for product planning. They are conversant in the purpose and the logic of the product/service, its architecture, and the technologies that the team uses.As a change agent, they are responsible to lead the organization in implementing Scrum through training, coaching, and advising. A primary focus here is helping the organization adopt an empirical approach. They facilitate interactions between stakeholders and the Scrum team to foster openness, respect, and learning.As with any leading role, Scrum Masters are representatives of Capgemini. They can handle multiple teams, and exhibit Lean Agile leadership in a scaled environment. They remove team delivery blockers and enhance Agile Mindset and Behaviours. They support teams by introducing them to applicable practices of Scrum and other frameworks like XP, Kanban. They contribute to the growth of the Scrum Master community, mentoring new SMs. They support learning and development by running knowledge sharing sessions.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $130,000 to $155,000\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
