The role will blend Capgemini offices, client sites and home working, subject to business and client requirements.\nHybrid working:\nThe places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.\nYour Role:\nDesign and operate self-service environments through infrastructure as code, including cloud and data-platform blueprints, agent runtimes and synthetic data capabilities that can be provisioned in minutes.\nBuild guardrails from the start, including identity, tagging, budget limits, automatic teardown, data-egress protection, and audit logging.\nCreate catalogues and packaging pipelines that turn prototypes into deployable, demonstrable solutions with automated tests and evaluation gates.\nMeasure provisioning time, adoption, cost and reliability, and use those insights to improve the platform continuously.\nBuild engineering best practices in the team, mentor colleagues and develop talent.\nClient Enablement & Deliver.\nEmbed with client platforms and engineering teams to establish governed AI environments adapted to their cloud, security and regulatory constraints.\nHelp clients design cost controls and operating models for AI workloads\nYour Skills:\n6-8+ years of experience in platform, DevOps or cloud engineering, including infrastructure as code such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines you have built and operated.\nDeep hands-on knowledge of at least one hyperscaler: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud, plus experience administering Databricks or Snowflake.\nGood understanding of open-source technologies.\nStrong security fundamentals across identity, secrets and network isolation, with a practical understanding of cloud cost management.\nStrong Python scripting skills and confidence with containers and orchestration.\nA product mindset: engineers are your customers, and you measure adoption and outcomes.\nWe are a Disability Confident Employer:\nCapgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.
