Where no two days are the same.\nLocation\nThis position is 100% onsite at local office.\nAbout The Job You're Considering\nWe are seeking a talented SoC Design Engineer to play a critical role in the architecture, integration, and implementation of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of SoC subsystems throughout the design lifecycle, from architectural definition and IP integration through implementation support and silicon readiness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, verification, physical implementation, and PCB engineering to deliver high-performance, power-efficient solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who are passionate about advanced semiconductor design and enjoy solving complex technical challenges in a highly collaborative environment.\nYour Role\nDefine and document architecture specifications for SoC subsystems and contribute to overall chip architecture decisions.\nIntegrate complex subsystems at the SoC level, including processors, memory, and high-speed interfaces. \nCollaborate with IP vendors and internal stakeholders to select and configure optimal IP solutions. \nDevelop and maintain timing, power, and quality methodologies, including SDC constraints, UPF implementation, CDC/RDC analysis, and linting flows. \nAnalyze power, performance, and area results and drive design optimizations to meet product objectives. \nPartner with synthesis, DFT, and physical design teams to resolve timing, power, and implementation challenges. \nSupport PCB design and system integration activities to ensure successful product development and deployment\nYour Skills & Experience\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. \nFour+ years of experience in SoC integration, design, or related semiconductor engineering roles.\nStrong experience integrating complex SoC subsystems such as processors, PCIe, DDR, or similar technologies.\nProficiency with RTL design methodologies and hardware description languages including Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.\nExperience developing and maintaining CDC, RDC, linting, synthesis, and power analysis flows. \nStrong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Tcl and Python. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global engineering teams\nPreferred Qualifcations\nExperience integrating ARM Cortex-A or Cortex-R class processors. \nExperience integrating GPU-based subsystems and graphics architectures. \nKnowledge of MMU-based systems and cache-coherent architectures. \nExperience with RTL-to-GDS implementation flows. \nFamiliarity with verification methodologies such as UVM.\nExperience using Synopsys tool suites including VCS, Verdi, SpyGlass, Design Compiler, and RTL Architect. \nWorking knowledge of embedded software development using C.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$73,150 to $174,000\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
