In this role, you'll work directly with customers to administer, maintain, and evolve their Polarion ALM platforms - ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the full application lifecycle.\nYour task\nAdministering, configuring, and maintaining Siemens Polarion ALM environments, including performing version upgrades, patch deployments, and migrations across development, test, and production systems\nTroubleshooting and resolving complex application, server, and infrastructure-level issues to ensure platform availability, stability, and security in line with customer standards\nManaging the underlying Polarion infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and system integrations, while monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions where needed\nCollaborating closely with customer stakeholders to understand technical requirements, deliver effective solutions, and support integration activities with third-party and enterprise tools\nProducing clear technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer and ongoing operational support to customer teams\nYour profile\n5+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Polarion ALM, including strong expertise in administration, configuration, customisation, and troubleshooting\nSolid experience with server administration (Linux and/or Windows), database management (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar), and LDAP/Active Directory integrations\nProven ability to manage backup, recovery, and system maintenance processes within enterprise application environments\nStrong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer-facing communication abilities, with experience engaging directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nExperience in enterprise ALM/PLM environments, with knowledge of integrations with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or SAP considered a strong advantage; exposure to scripting, automation, or AI/GenAI tooling is a plus\nWhat You'll love about working here\nFree access to learning platforms - Free access for all to world-class learning assets and curated programs from Harvard Business Review, Coursera, Pluralsight, Udemy, Microsoft, AWS, Google and many more.\nWorldwide Leader of Engineering Services - Capgemini Engineering combines its broad industry knowledge and cutting-edge technologies in digital and software to support the convergence of the physical and digital worlds.
