The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, shape modern software solutions, and help enterprise clients build secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient digital platforms.\nYour Role\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and develop software engineers, architects, engineering managers, platform engineers, infrastructure specialists, DevSecOps practitioners, and FinOps professionals.\nSet engineering goals, delivery expectations, technical standards, and performance metrics.\nRecruit, mentor, and develop technical talent through regular feedback and career planning.\nTranslate customer business and product objectives into architecture strategies, technical roadmaps, and delivery plans.\nLead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable, and cost-efficient software solutions.\nOwn application architecture across cloud-native development, APIs, microservices, integration, data platforms, and distributed systems.\nLead application modernization, legacy decomposition, cloud migration, platform engineering, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.\nEstablish engineering practices for coding, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, reliability, and operational readiness.\nImplement engineering governance covering design reviews, code quality, technical debt, release management, and architecture assurance.\nDesign and mature FinOps capabilities encompassing budgeting, forecasting, allocation, showback or chargeback, optimization, and governance.\nConnect software and infrastructure decisions to cloud consumption, business value, unit economics, and total cost of ownership.\nPerform technical due diligence, identify delivery and operational risks, and recommend mitigation options.\nCollaborate with product, UX, application, data, infrastructure, security, finance, procurement, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.\nOwn multidisciplinary delivery plans when required and ensure predictable outcomes.\nPromote reusable platforms, automation, tools, and engineering standards across the organization.\nYour Skills And Experience\nIdeal Background\nClient-facing technology consulting experience focused on requirements analysis, technical strategy, and solution delivery.\nExtensive software-development experience, including leadership of crossfunctional engineering organizations.\nExpertise in application architecture, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, integration, data platforms, and distributed systems.\nStrong knowledge of public and hybrid cloud architecture, including compute, network, storage, containers, security, resilience, and operations.\nExperience leading application modernization, cloud migration, platform engineering, infrastructure transformation, and DevSecOps programs.\nExperience designing and operating FinOps programs aligned with FinOps Foundation principles.\nCommercial solutioning experience encompassing delivery estimation, business-case development, and cost modeling.\nExcellent written, verbal, customer-facing, and executive communication skills.\nMandatory and Desired Skills\nExperience leading technical organizations of 15 or more people.\nStrong hands-on foundation in software development, application architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.\nExperience managing the full software-development lifecycle from discovery and design through deployment and operations.\nExpertise in modern programming ecosystems, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, containers, and cloud-native architecture.\nFive or more years of public-cloud architecture experience.\nProven leadership of complex application modernization, digital-product, infrastructure, or cloud-transformation programs.\nDemonstrated ability to design complex architectures and organize multidisciplinary teams to deliver them.\nKnowledge of agile product delivery, DevSecOps, site reliability engineering, IT service management, and engineering-performance metrics.\nExperience implementing FinOps practices, including cost allocation, forecasting, optimization, and governance.\nStrong commercial judgment, organizational leadership, coaching ability, and executive presence.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $139,020 - $226,050.\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
