With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for a Test Manager to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving impactful value creation for our clients.\nHybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.\nIf you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)\nYour role\nManage and oversee test strategy, planning, governance, and delivery across multiple projects, programmes, or portfolios. \nEstablish and drive the overall quality assurance and testing approach, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery outcomes. \nDefine testing standards, frameworks, controls, and governance processes to ensure consistency and quality across delivery teams. \nEstablish and maintain quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and executive-level dashboards to support informed decision-making. \nProvide leadership and direction to Test Leads, Test Analysts, and Quality Engineering teams, fostering a high-performance culture. \nAccountable for end-to-end test delivery, including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing. \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation adoption, AI-enabled testing, process optimisation, and quality engineering transformation. \nEstablish and implement automation, where appropriate, across the delivery lifecycle \nManage programme-level test risks, issues, dependencies, and defect governance, providing clear visibility to senior stakeholders. \nCollaborate with programme managers, architects, product owners, business analysts, and delivery leaders to embed quality throughout the SDLC. \nAct as the senior testing authority, influencing stakeholders and providing assurance on delivery readiness and quality outcomes. \nOwn test budgets, resource planning, forecasting, and vendor management where applicable. \nYour skills and experience\nExtensive experience managing testing and quality assurance across large-scale, complex programmes and enterprise-wide initiatives. \nProven track record of leading distributed testing teams, Test Leads, suppliers, and third-party vendors. \nStrong experience in test governance, quality management, risk control, and executive stakeholder reporting. \nExpertise delivering across functional and non-functional testing disciplines at scale, including functional automation, performance, security, accessibility, and resilience testing. \nExperience defining enterprise test strategies, operating models, standards, and quality frameworks, including automation and AI. \nStrong commercial awareness with experience in resource management, estimation, capacity planning, and budget oversight. \nExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and delivery teams. \nDeep understanding of Agile, SAFe, DevOps, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies. \nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent platforms. \nExperience leveraging Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to improve test design, execution, and quality engineering outcomes. \nWe are a Disability Confident Employer:\nCapgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.
