This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from strategy and planning through deployment, stabilization, and ongoing optimization.\nThe ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management expertise, Workday functional knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and consulting experience. This individual will partner with client executives, business leaders, HR organizations, and technical teams to drive large-scale enterprise transformation programs while ensuring delivery excellence, quality, governance, and business value realization.\nProject Managers are responsible for overseeing the project/engagement/contract/activity on a daily basis and are responsible for delivering high-quality results within the identified objectives and constraints, ensuring the effective use of the allocated resources. They are responsible for risk and issue management, project/engagement communication and stakeholder management. Project managers perform the activities of planning, organising, securing, monitoring and managing the resources and work necessary to deliver specific project goals and objectives in an effective and efficient way. Responsible for ensuring that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of application solutions in response to client requirements, expressed in approved service requests. PM are responsible for the overall projectorengagement plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. PM ensure that the project meets its deliverables in an agreed schedule, according to the scope, within stipulated budget, and to quality standards.\nYour Role\nLead end-to-end Workday implementation, enhancement, optimization, migration, and Application Management Services (AMS) engagements.\nManage project scope, budget, resource planning, timelines, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and change control processes.\nServe as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, executive sponsors, and delivery teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.\nDevelop and manage project plans, work breakdown structures, staffing models, milestones, status reporting, and governance frameworks.\nCoordinate cross-functional Workday teams including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Finance, Integrations, Reporting, Security, and Data Conversion workstreams.\nFacilitate discovery sessions, design workshops, solution reviews, conference room pilots, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment readiness assessments.\nDrive alignment between business requirements, Workday leading practices, and organizational transformation objectives.\nLead project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, executive status updates, and stakeholder communications.\nMonitor project health through KPIs, delivery metrics, RAID logs, quality reviews, and financial management reporting.\nManage client expectations, resolve escalations, and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies.\nEnsure compliance with Workday release management processes, testing requirements, and organizational governance standards.\nCollaborate with integration, reporting, security, change management, and training teams to ensure successful adoption and business readiness.\nSupport organizational change management efforts, communications planning, and stakeholder engagement activities.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization and business value realization.\nMentor project team members and promote delivery excellence, collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing.\nLeverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, automation, and analytics capabilities, to enhance project delivery and operational efficiencies.\nYour Skills and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.\n8+ years of project management experience leading enterprise software or cloud transformation programs.\n5+ years of experience managing Workday implementation, deployment, enhancement, or AMS engagements.\nDemonstrated success delivering large-scale Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, or multi-module transformation programs.\nStrong understanding of Workday architecture, implementation methodology, tenant strategy, and deployment lifecycle.\nExperience managing projects involving Workday HCM, Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Benefits, Learning, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Finance, Prism Analytics, Reporting, Integrations, and Security.\nStrong understanding of HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent Management, and business process transformation initiatives.\nExperience managing global or multi-country Workday deployments.\nProven expertise in project governance, executive reporting, stakeholder management, budget management, forecasting, and resource planning.\nExperience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid, or PMI-based project management methodologies.\nStrong knowledge of project management tools, documentation standards, and delivery frameworks.\nExperience facilitating workshops, requirements gathering sessions, testing activities, and deployment planning.\nStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.\nExperience collaborating with offshore, nearshore, and geographically dispersed delivery teams.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.\nExperience utilizing AI, Generative AI, automation, or analytics solutions to improve project delivery, workforce productivity, or operational effectiveness. (preferred) \nPMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification. (preferred) \nActive or previous Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, Integrations, Reporting, or Security certifications.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 - $233,740\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
