You will also provide a full cleaning service to the whole facility, both reactive and planned.Job title:\nCaretakerJob Description:\nThis role is based at the Great Yarmouth Police investigation Centre\nYou must be able to complete Police vetting which requires you to have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nProviding a full cleaning service (planned, reactive and specialist) within the whole secure facility as well as offering out of hour’s availability for reactive service and providing cover for holidays and sickness at other sites and own (including weekends, Public Holidays).\n\nAssist with maintenance and repair of equipment across the site, including making minor repairs\n\nUndertake a variety of both reactive and preventative day to day maintenance or repair tasks.\n\nUndertake monthly internal and external window and window frame clean.\n\nUndertake grounds and gardens maintenance, including planting, grass cutting, weeding etc.\n\nCollect all waste and deposit at specified points within the facility boundary.\n\nMaintain stock levels of consumables and equipment provided throughout the building e.g. toilet/copier paper and detainee consumables.\n\nTrain others in core caretaking duties/responsibilities and give direction to other members of staff when required.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nYou will have previous experience in a maintenance/cleaning role.\n\nPrevious experience working within a secure facility.\n\nBasic ICT, electrical and mechanical skills.\n\nHold a current clean driving licence.\n\nFlexible regarding working hours\n\nAll applicants will go through police vetting which requires you to have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.\n\nAbout Capita & Tascor\nCapita is an outsourcer, helping clients across the public and private sectors run complex business processes more efficiently, creating better consumer experiences.\nTascor is part of Education & Government Services, a division of Capita.
