You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers maximise the value of their technology investments while maintaining secure, reliable, and effective ICT environments.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with school leaders, teaching staff, business managers, students, and internal teams to provide both proactive and reactive support across a range of technologies.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver high-quality ICT support to schools and academies in line with ProXtra SLA commitments.\nProvide technical advice, guidance, and solutions within educational environments across Staffordshire, and other geographical areas as required.\nConduct onsite visits to provide support to our customers face to face.\nManage incidents, service requests, changes, and technical issues through to resolution, meeting agreed response and resolution targets.\nMaintain regular communication with customers, providing timely updates and clear expectations throughout the support process.\nSupport, maintain, and troubleshoot customer ICT equipment, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, wireless systems, and cloud services.\nAssist schools with ICT Audits, planning, and refresh programmes.\nSupport customer environments to align with DFE Guidelines\nProduce and maintain accurate technical documentation for schools, and site records.\nWork collaboratively with internal support teams to ensure smooth delivery and transition of services.\nAbout You\nProven experience in a customer-facing ICT support, systems engineer, or technical consultant role.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across a broad range of ICT technologies.\nExperience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.\nExperience supporting and maintaining Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.\nGood knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and automation tools.\nExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience supporting virtual server environments, including Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware.\nExperience supporting backup solutions\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.\nThe successful applicant will require security clearance (i.e. DBS checked).\nAbout Entrust\nEntrust is a joint venture between Capita and Staffordshire County Council.
