Working closely with other stakeholders our activities and skills are wide and varied.\nJob title:\nPensions Implementation Consultant (Configuration)Job Description:\nWe are now looking for Implementation Consultants to join our team to ensure all aspects of a transition and change project are delivered on time and to a high standard within a controlled project environment.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nGathering and interpreting client requirements and processes, and translating these into system solutions\nManaging system configuration activities and quality\nDelivering calculation automation\nLeading client implementation projects\nFacilitating internal and external system training, and provide appropriate documentation\nTroubleshooting and resolving client queries and issues\nMentoring and coaching Implementation Analysts\nConducting system configuration and testing quality control activities\nSupporting the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in analysis and design, and specification production for new and/or enhanced developments\nUndertaking system configuration and checking\nUndertaking data analysis activities and checking\nUndertaking project management activities including risk and issue identification and mitigation\nWhat we’re looking for:\nAble to lead on projects and experience of managing/mentoring a team\nUK Pension background: detailed understanding and ability to explain the difference between DB, DC, CARE and Annuities, how they are administered and a full understanding of system & process implications\nIs able to explain:\n- pension member records and their set up\n- the relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds and investments\n- different types of Pension Schemes\n- different types of member status' and applicable calculations for each\n-Describe the regulatory bodies and their roles in this sector\n-Demonstrate knowledge of system set up and use of parameters\nAble to demonstrate capability and knowledge of pension/employee benefit technology platforms\nStrong MS Excel skills, able to draft an automated excel calculator with basic formula; ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups, control totals, IF and nested IF statements and formatting of cells to specific guidelines\nGood MS Access\nAbility to understand requirements and able to produce specifications\nAbout Capita Pensions Solutions:\nAt Capita Pension Solutions (CPS), we create and implement resilient and responsible pension strategies to help your organisation and your people look forward to a more secure financial future.
