Building trusted relationships, influencing key stakeholders and supporting safer training outcomes, you'll help ensure that risk management is embedded in everything we do.\nJob title:\nSafety Risk AnalystJob Description:\nPermanent role - 37.5 hours a week\nHybrid role with 2 or 3 days a week in Warminster\nDue to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at BPSS level.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nMaintain the accuracy of the risk register across the full range of collective training establishments \nInform Training Risk Lead of changes to risk\nUnderstand relevant training policy and safety management to provide coherence across the risk register\nSupport the Training Risk Lead in the awareness and utility of the training risk register to reinforce a safety culture \nRecord short notice safety notifications \nCollect, validate, and analyse safety data (e.g., accidents/incidents, near misses, hazards, audits, inspections, observations). \nSupport incident and near-miss investigations by providing evidence, analysing contributing factors, and documenting findings. \nSupport compliance with health and safety legislation, internal policies, and relevant industry standards. \nWork with operational teams to promote safety awareness and encourage reporting of hazards and near misses. \n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications\nExperience in a safety, risk, compliance, quality, or assurance role (or strong transferable analytical experience). \nUnderstanding of safety risk assessment principles and incident investigation processes. \nStrong analytical and investigative skills with high attention to detail.\nAbility to interpret safety legislation, policies, procedures, and standards and apply them practically.\nConfidence working with data (Excel/BI tools desirable) to identify patterns and produce clear insights.\nStrong written communication skills, including report writing and presenting findings clearly.\nAbility to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a structured way.\nAbility to challenge appropriately, escalate concerns, and maintain professional integrity.\nDesirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications\nExperience working within a regulated, contract-led, or operational environment (desirable). \nFamiliarity with safety reporting systems and maintaining risk/action logs (desirable). \nKnowledge of the military/Army\nAbout ACTS (Army Collective Training Service)\nThe OMNIA® Training consortium brings together five leading UK defence training organisations: Capita, Raytheon, Rheinmetall, Cervus and Skyral.
