real results.\nCore responsibilities:\nDesign and build scalable, low-latency, and high-performance backend services\nDevelop distributed and asynchronous systems ensuring reliability and fault tolerance\nOptimise performance across JVM, databases, caching, and networking layers\nApply security best practices in handling client PII and financial transactions\nUse event-driven architectures and modern messaging solutions (e.g. Kafka)\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business needs\nMaintain high code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices\nLeverage AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and delivery\nWhat you will need: Experience & domain knowledge:\nProven experience in FinTech, Banking, or related financial domains\nStrong understanding of distributed systems architecture and the client-server model\nAbility to design and maintain scalable, low-latency, high-performance systems\nSolid knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming\nAwareness of security best practices in handling PII and financial transactions\nBasic understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting\nExperience working in a product-led fast-paced environment as a team player\nTechnical skills:\nJava and Spring: Advanced knowledge of Java Core technologies and the Spring framework\nData Mastery: Proficiency with SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance, structure, and replication\nConcurrency & Async programming: advanced understanding and hands-on experience in asynchronous programming methods.\n Events streaming: Understanding of the event driven architecture (Kafka or similar solutions).\nOperational Proficiency: Understanding and hands-on experience with Ops activities, Kubernetes, pipelines, Fit Flow and modern CI/CD patterns and strategies\nAI tools: ability to effectively use AI technologies in engineering work e.g. applying AI for coding assistance, debugging, testing, documentation, and optimisation of workflows\nSoft skills:\nCommunication: Effective communication skills, especially with teams responsible for security, operations and product\nAnalytical thinking: Ability to tackle and investigate complicated problems and convert it to the task\nAdaptability to Rapid Changes: Demonstrated capability to adjust to quick
