Frequent exposure to moving equipment and mechanical components is required, and noise levels can be significant.\nSuccess in this role requires the following:\nExcelling in a team environment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nIntegrative thinking skills\nAbility to adapt to change quickly\nWillingness and aptitude for learning new things\nQuick recognition of problems and proper escalation when necessary\nOptimism, boldness, and forward-leaning\nAttention to detail\nSelf motivation\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerforms all basic production equipment operation, ensures a steady workflow, achieves and maintains production standards as required by the department, including performing minor equipment adjustments.\nConduct quality control inspections on mail pieces while actively navigating the production floor, unloading materials, and maintaining the physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk up to at least 10,000 steps daily\nEnsures quality checks are performed before, during, and upon completion of production runs with emphasis on final customer product and meeting department standards. Troubleshoots basic and intermediate program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.\nCompletes operator/job logs and other documentation to track job completion and produces reports/documentation to validate damaged pieces during production runs.\nMaintains appropriate supply inventory based on established procedures and requirements.\nManually prepares documents for mailing.\nMay provide training support for new employees (after proficient), may provide answers to workflow questions (after proficient).\nActively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.\nAbility to operate motorized production equipment such as but not limited to manufacturing machines, packaging machines, pallet jack, and other non-motorized production machinery.\nEssential Functions (Including, but not limited to):\nLifting up to 50 pounds\nMoving/standing for extended periods of time\nRegular and consistent attendance\nSchedule & Hours: 35-40 hours per week on average.
