Strong communication and storytelling capabilities are essential for this role.\nResponsibilities:\nOptimize and enhance foundational elements of the Risk Identification Framework, aligning capabilities with broader strategic objectives and transformation efforts\n\nLead cross-functional initiatives to simplify and standardize Risk Identification processes\n\nLeverage data analysis and operational insights to identify core problems and formulate effective solutions\n\nCollaborate with 1st Line and 2nd Line stakeholders to align strategies and ensure consistent execution across business lines\n\nPartner with technology, product, and data teams to implement required system and process updates\n\nDesign and implement risk metrics to measure framework effectiveness and process health\n\nLead training across lines of defense to ensure consistent adoption and execution\n\nEstablish and manage guidance to ensure consistent execution across business lines\n\nDeliver reporting and executive-level presentations that provide leadership with real-time risk visibility\n\nFulfill audit and regulatory exam requests, and other ad-hoc deliverables\n\nSupport general governance activities, including controls, and issues\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelors Degree or military experience\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Project Management, or Process Management\n\nAt least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business partners\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6+ years of Risk Management experience\n\n3+ years of Financial Services Risk Management experience\n\nAbility to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional projects\n\nAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.\nThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
