Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and architects to create blueprints, choose technologies, and set coding standards, while also providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nHigh-Level Design: \nDevelops architectural blueprints, conceptual models, and designs for software systems, ensuring they meet business needs and technical requirements.\nProactively identifies technical debt and develops a design and approach to mitigate and resolve it promptly.\n\nTechnology Selection: \nMakes decisions about the technologies, frameworks, libraries, and tools to be used in a project.\nEvaluates and helps conclude across internal and external choices.\n\nSDLC Standards: \nEstablishes and enforces coding, deployment, and monitoring standards and best practices for the engineering team.\n\nCollaboration: \nWorks closely with product and engineering stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment throughout the project.\nHelps quantify the risk and impact of existing technical debt and prioritize resolving and mitigating it promptly.\n\nTechnical Leadership: \nProvides technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the development team.\nDefines coding, security, deployment (CI/CD), and observability/monitoring standards across teams.\nAct as a force multiplier.\n\nDocumentation: \nCreates technical documentation to ensure the project is well-defined and understood by all stakeholders.\n\nRequirements: \nDeep technical knowledge of data pipelines for AI, real-time data handling, web application security, high availability systems, etc.\nExtensive experience in software development across transactional and big data systems with a foundational understanding of various technologies and methodologies.\nComfortable with multiple programming languages and paradigms, familiarity with relational and NoSQL data stores, and streaming technology.\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.\nCommunication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nProject Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and techniques, including Agile and Scrum.\n\nBasic Qualifications: \nBachelor's Degree in Engineering.\nAt least 10 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).\nAt least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nMaster's Degree in Engineering.\n5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript (TypeScript).\n3+ years of experience with AWS or any other cloud service.\nFamiliarity with project management experiencestakeholder management, delivery, and timeline management, etc.\n2+ years of experience in Agile
