This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences in secure and regulated environments.\nYou Will Get To\nDevelop and maintain user manuals, guides, online help content, and process documentation.\nCollaborate with engineers, product teams, and subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.\nCreate technical specifications, training materials, reports, and presentation content.\nManage documentation projects end-to-end, including planning, writing, editing, and publication.\nReview and edit content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.\nUpdate and maintain documentation based on system changes, user feedback, and release cycles.\nSupport usability testing efforts to ensure documentation meets end-user needs.\nCommunicate updates, findings, and project status to stakeholders and business users.\nWho You Are\nA strong communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation.\nHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.\nDetail-oriented with strong editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills.\nComfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with engineers and stakeholders.\nAble to operate independently while maintaining alignment with team goals and deadlines.\nQualifications\n Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n5+ years of professional experience in technical writing, documentation development, or content management in a technical environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.\nExperience developing documentation for software systems, processes, or enterprise applications.\nStrong writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation structuring skills.\nAbility to manage documentation lifecycles from draft through publication.\nNice to Have\nBasic understanding of graphic design and multimedia tools.\nExperience working in government or government contractor environments.\nFamiliarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms.\nExperience working with classified or sensitive information environments.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) or Agile environments.\nExperience creating diagrams, process flows, or technical illustrations.\nSalary\nWe are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $75k-$115k annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect.
