Headquartered in Singapore, CapitaLand’s portfolio focuses on real estate investment management and real estate development, and spans across 270 cities in 45 countries.\nJob Description\nJob Responsibilities\nManage sustainability initiatives and engineering projects, including but not limited to solar photovoltaic (PV) installations, M&E enhancement works, smart building technologies, and environmental sustainability programs.\nCoordinate with operations teams, business units, and stakeholders to ensure accurate collection, validation, and reporting of utility and sustainability data. Support GRESB submissions, sustainability disclosures, and periodic reporting of CapitaLand sustainability targets and performance indicators.\nIdentify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies and sustainability solutions to improve energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and recycling performance across the portfolio.\nConduct feasibility studies, pilot trials, technical assessments, and performance evaluations of emerging technologies, and oversee project execution from planning through implementation.\nCollaborate with corporate functions, operations teams, vendors, consultants, and external stakeholders to develop and drive sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAnalyze operational performance and sustainability metrics, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and recommend strategies to enhance environmental performance and resource efficiency.\nPrepare management reports, business cases, presentations, and recommendations for project approvals and stakeholder decision-making.\nUndertake any other duties and projects as assigned by manager.\nRequirements\nDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in sustainability, engineering, facilities management, green building initiatives, or the built environment sector.\nFamiliarity with green building certifications, sustainability reporting frameworks, energy management, and environmental regulations.\nStrong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.\nEffective interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, both written and verbal.\nSelf-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
