This role supports the Product Head in producing the best product, directing how it's built and developed across its full life cycle, and working closely with the Software Development Manager and teams on what gets built and when.\n\nIn this role, you'll take front-end ownership of Connects full channel suite the app, Nova, USSD, IVR and self-service and lead the people, partnerships and delivery plans that bring it all to life.\nWhat you'll do\n\nOwn the front-end delivery of Connects channel suite from end to end\n\nLead and coordinate front-end developers, UI and UX teams across all Connect touchpoints\n\nWork at tactical and operational levels, contribute to product strategy and business planning, and integrate business and technical product segments to achieve objectives, delivery and targets\n\nManage delivery of provisioning, vouchers, order management and bundle products\n\nEnsure the front-end integrates correctly with APIs and backend capabilities\n\nAuthor documents across the product life cycle, including business plans, product roadmaps, business cases, requirements and functional specifications\n\nUse data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, measure success and validate products through client feedback\n\nAlign initiatives and projects to our broader strategy and achieve goals through cross-functional teams, including remote and hybrid setups\n\nWhat you'll need\n\rEducation\n\nMinimum: Bachelor's Degree\n\nIdeal: Honours Degree\n\nExperience (minimum)\n\nAt least 8 years' management experience at senior level in product development or as a product manager/owner, with 5+ years managing, developing and delivering a product\n\nCareer experience that includes time in one or more technical roles, and a track record of communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units\n\nWorking knowledge of APIs, front-end technologies and Java-based environments\n\nExperience coordinating UI/UX teams and managing end-to-end technical delivery\n\nExperience scoping and running usability studies and/or client research\n\nBusiness development experience in a banking or financial landscape\n\nKnowledge (minimum)\n\nFinancial acumen for budget management · Translation of product strategies into tactical and operational plans · Systems thinking, big-picture view, sound decision-making · Agile product ownership and methodology · Domain-specific knowledge, product technology and technical dependencies · People and stakeholder management · Data-driven, analytical and
