Once you have completed the above finalize your application by clicking apply below.\n\nPurpose Statement\n\rTo actively influence and provide expert Risk Management oversight to relevant stakeholders where required, contributing to risk culture maturity, regulatory compliance and strategic risk mitigation, while enabling informed decision-making and sustainable business performance. As part of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework implementation, provide 2nd line oversight over all aspects relating to Risk Management.\n\nExperience\n\n 10yrs+ risk management in a senior role overseeing a large organizational unit preferably in a financial institution or bank. \n\nOr \n\n As a risk specialist in a leadership role\n\n Industry experience of at least 6 years with banking regulations, capital markets, technology risks and public policy\n\n Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives\n\n Experience of strategically leading, planning and managing risk initiatives across a large organisation\n\n Alignment of metrics, reporting and tactical objectives with strategy\n\n Ability to apply risk expertise to creative and effective applications\n\n Regulatory liaison and engagements\n\nQualifications (Minimum)\n\rBachelor's Degree in Risk and Compliance or Law\r\nQualifications (Ideal or Preferred)\n\rA relevant post-graduate qualification in Risk and Compliance or Law\r\nKnowledge\n\n Knowledge and experience of Risk life cycle/value chain\n\n Expert knowledge of Risk Management best practice and regulatory frameworks/requirements\n\n Commercial, business and financial principles and practices\n\n Building and developing effective teams\n\n Risk management systems\n\n Business knowledge\n\n Governance and Risk Management principles\n\n Business products, processes, policies and systems\n\n Quality principles and practice\n\n Process-oriented management\n\n Internal risk metrics and approaches\n\n
