Once you have completed the above finalize your application by clicking apply below.\nShape the future of a critical banking channel\n\rWe are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager: Cash Devices to lead the teams responsible for our cash-device technology platforms, terminal applications, integrations and operational delivery capability. This is a strategic technical leadership role for someone with strong ATM and transaction-processing expertise who can provide technology direction, manage key vendor and platform relationships, ensure the stability, availability and security of critical banking systems, and develop high-performing teams. The successful candidate will drive delivery excellence, operational resilience, continuous improvement and people development across a critical customer channel.\nWhat you'll do\n\nLead multiple ATM technology delivery teams responsible for ATM applications and services.\n\nDrive solution design, architecture governance, engineering standards and delivery quality.\n\nEnsure system availability, performance, resilience and security across a critical banking channel.\n\nOversee software development, enhancements, maintenance and production support.\n\nLead major incident management, root cause analysis and recovery activities.\n\nBuild and develop high-performing technical delivery teams through coaching and mentoring.\n\nManage vendor relationships, technical roadmaps and delivery outcomes.\n\nPartner with product, technology and business stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives.\n\nPartner with the Product Head to translate the strategic product roadmap into executable delivery plans, release forecasts, milestones and team-level execution priorities across the cash-devices technology portfolio.\n\nLead agile planning practices with the team, translating prioritised business features into delivery-ready team epics and, through iterative refinement, clear user stories, while managing dependencies, capacity, sprint and release planning, and delivery tracking.\n\nDrive engineering best practices including secure coding, code reviews, CI/CD and production readiness\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\n8+ years of direct ATM domain experience.\n\nProven experience within ATM delivery, support and operational environments.\n\nStrong technical delivery leadership experience within a banking or financial services environment.\n\nProven ability to build high-performing technical delivery teams through coaching, mentoring, capability development, succession planning and career growth initiatives.\n\nExperience leading technical teams in an agile delivery environment, including translating strategic roadmaps into delivery plans, decomposing prioritised features into team epics and user stories, forecasting delivery, managing dependencies and tracking execution.\n\nExperience managing critical production systems and high-availability platforms.\n\nProduction resilience & Security (ie. Incident Management, Root cause analysis, problem management, disaster recovery, performance analysis and optimisation, production monitoring, ATM security Principles, Encryption concepts, PCI DSS and PCI Pin standards)\n\nTechnology Engineering & Integration\n\nProficiency in programming and scripting languages appropriate to the technology environment\n\nAPI Integrations\n\nEnterprise Integration Patterns\n\nArchitecture Governance\n\nSecure Coding Practices\n\nCI/CD Principles\n\nTechnical Design Reviews and Code Reviews\n\nCritical technical expertise:\n\rATM Technologies\n\nATM transaction lifecycle\n\nATM application architecture\n\nDevice integrations\n\nATM deployment and estate management\n\nProduction support and device availability\n\nExperience with established ATM manufacturer platforms; NCR SelfServ and Diebold Nixdorf are preferred, while experience with GRG, Hyosung or other enterprise ATM estates will also be considered.\n\nTerminal Applications & Device Platforms:\n\nNCR AANDC / NDC / NDCe\n\nDiebold Agilis / VCP\n\nSelf-service banking platforms\n\nATM, cash recycler, cash deposit and assisted-service solutions\n\nOther vendor terminal application platforms\n\nPostilion (Essential):\n\rExperience with:\n\nPostilion ATM Switching\n\nTerminal Drivers\n\nATM Application Integration\n\nISO8583 Messaging\n\nRouting and Transaction Flows\n\nTransaction Debugging\n\nPostilion Configuration\n\nExperience with Postilion ATM App and/or Postilion SDK Development will be highly advantageous.\n\nDelivery & Planning Leadership\n\nTranslation of the Product Head’s strategic roadmap into executable delivery plans, milestones, release forecasts and team-level priorities\n\nPractical application of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and scaled agile practices where appropriate\n\nRelease planning, forecasting and delivery tracking\n\nWorking from the Product Head’s prioritised backlog and partnering with the team to decompose business features into delivery-ready team epics and progressively refined user stories\n\nDependency, risk and issue management\n\nCapacity and resource planning\n\nVendor and cross-functional delivery coordination\n\nStakeholder management and executive reporting\n\nAdvantageous experience:\n\nNCR NDCe development and Builder experience\n\nMulti-vendor ATM environments (NCR, Diebold, GRG, Hyosung)\n\nDigital and omnichannel banking platforms\n\nAPI and event-driven architecture\n\nKafka and event streaming\n\nCash recycler and deposit automation solutions\n\nAzure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps and modern cloud engineering practices\n\nQualifications (Minimum)\n\rBachelor's Degree in Commerce or Information Technology -
