We are building a fraud operations team for a 6-month staffing engagement with a leading Kuwaiti bank's 24/7 digital fraud operations function.\nThis is a 6-month consultancy engagement with a defined delivery model: the first two months are delivered fully remotely, and from Month 3 the role relocates onsite to the bank's offices in Kuwait City for the remainder of the term. Onsite presence in Kuwait from Month 3 is a firm requirement of the role, not a preference - please only apply if you are genuinely able and willing to relocate for the onsite phase.\nTHE ROLE\nYou will be the analytical engine of the fraud operations team: turning alert, transaction and case data into detection improvements, management information and tuning decisions. You will work under the bank's direction, alongside Capitex L1 and L2 analysts and a senior fraud investigator, and be the bridge between what the operation sees and what the detection estate does.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n- Analyse fraud alert and case data to identify trends, emerging typologies, detection gaps and false-positive drivers.\n- Support rule and threshold tuning on the bank's fraud monitoring platform - build the evidence base, model the impact, and document proposed changes for the bank's approval.\n- Design and produce operational MI: alert volumes, disposition outcomes, SLA performance, fraud losses and prevented losses, shift-level throughput.\n- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting for the fraud operations leadership team.\n- Support post-incident and thematic reviews with data deep-dives.\n- Work with L2 and the senior investigator to convert case observations into measurable detection improvements.\nRequirements\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n- 3+ years in data analytics within fraud, financial crime or banking operations.\n- Strong SQL is essential; Python or R for analysis is a strong plus.\n- Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) and building operational dashboards.\n- Familiarity with fraud detection platforms and alert data structures (FICO Falcon, Actimize, SAS or equivalent) - enough to interrogate their output and support tuning.\n- Ability to present analysis clearly to operational and senior stakeholders in English.\n- Confirmed availability for an August 2026 start and genuine willingness to be onsite in Kuwait City from Month 3 to Month 6.\nENGAGEMENT DETAILS\n- 6-month consultancy agreement with Capitex, with extension possible on client renewal.\n- Competitive all-inclusive monthly consultancy fee, with an additional housing allowance during the onsite phase.\n- Visa, work authorisation and payroll for the Kuwait onsite phase are arranged and sponsored through our employer-of-record partner.\n- Laptop (Dell Latitude) provided by Capitex; client systems access configured by the bank.\n- Commencement is aligned to contract mobilisation - indicative start August 2026, confirmed at offer stage.\nSCREENING QUESTIONS (WORKABLE)\n- The role is delivered onsite at the client's Kuwait City offices from Month 3 to Month 6.
