virtualization, cloud), and understands the unique requirements of GMP-regulated environments, including system validation, data integrity, and audit readiness.\nResponsibilities\nNetwork Engineering & Infrastructure\nDesign, implement, and support LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure across office and laboratory environments\nConfigure and maintain Cisco switches and wireless, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto firewalls, and Prisma\nManage GlobalProtect VPN and secure remote access\nSupport segmented networks for lab instruments, manufacturing systems, and corporate users\nSystems Engineering & Infrastructure\nDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure (Windows servers, virtualization, storage)\nAdminister Windows Server and Active Directory environments\nManage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions\nLead infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management\nCloud & Hybrid Connectivity\nArchitect and support cloud infrastructure and networking in AWS and/or Azure\nMaintain hybrid connectivity between on-prem, cloud, and SaaS platforms (e.g., Veeva, NetSuite)\nSupport cloud migrations and optimize cost, performance, and reliability of cloud resources\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement and maintain network and system security controls and best practices\nPartner with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability management and remediation\nManage identity and access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC)\nEnsure compliance with GMP, SOX, and FDA requirements\nPartner with Quality and Compliance teams on validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ)\nMonitoring, Automation & Documentation\nImplement, maintain, and use monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SolarWinds) to troubleshoot network and system performance\nAutomate repetitive tasks using scripting (PowerShell)\nPerform root cause analysis and performance tuning\nMaintain accurate network diagrams, system documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready records\nCollaboration & Escalation Support\nAct as Tier 3 escalation point for complex network and infrastructure issues\nParticipate in incident response and change management processes\nPartner with Help Desk, Cybersecurity, and business teams to support critical systems and IT projects\nProvide technical mentorship to junior engineers\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n5-8+ years of experience in network and/or systems engineering within regulated or enterprise environments\nStrong networking knowledge, including:\nLayer 2/Layer 3 switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs\nCisco switching, wireless, and Cisco ISE\nPalo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, and Prisma\nStrong systems expertise, including:\nWindows Server & Active Directory\nVirtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)\nCloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)\nBackup solutions (Veeam or Rubrik)\nExperience with scripting/automation (PowerShell)\nExperience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability design\nFamiliarity with network and system monitoring and alerting tools\nStrong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application connectivity\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations\nKnowledge of GMP, HIPAA, SOX, or FDA compliance frameworks, including validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) and audit requirements\nCertifications such as:\nCisco (CCNA, CCNP)\nPalo Alto (PCNSE)\nMicrosoft (Azure Administrator/Architect)\nAWS Solutions Architect\nVMware (VCP)\nExperience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, ExpressRoute/VPN Gateway)\nFamiliarity with lab environments, including instrument connectivity and OT networks\nExperience with
