You will also provide essential administrative support to our agency programs, creditors, and clientele, helping us achieve our mission of supporting the community.\n\nWhat we're looking for in the ideal candidate:\nMinimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable or similar position.\nHas a High School Diploma or G.E.D.\nAs an Accounts Payable Specialist you will:\nAccurately enter accounts payable vouchers into the accounting system.\nProcess employee travel requests, reconciliations, and reimbursements.\nAnalyze expenses and handle petty cash replenishment requests.\nResolve vendor and staff inquiries professionally.\nMaintain and organize accounts payable registers and journals.\nProcess payments to vendors and complete check runs on schedule.\nReconcile vendor statements and post transactions to the General Ledger.\nAssist during audit periods with data collection and preparation.\nMaintain filing system in accordance with departmental procedures.\nPlease note this job advertisement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
