Oversees all aspects of billing: data entry, transmission, reimbursements, re-billing, etc. Trains and oversees all Medical Assistants assigned to assist with billing. Trouble shoots issues with HMIS, ClientTrack, Cen Cal, etc. The Billing Coordinator II has added responsibility of managing Housing Deposits and Home Goods purchasing, and facilitating the process with staff. The Billing Coordinator II will serve as the primary point of contact for all Housing Deposits and Home Goods correspondence with CAPSLO’s finance department.\nWhat we're looking for in the ideal candidate:\nLevel I:\nMust have a combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a minimum of three years experience in homeless services. \nMust have knowledge of homeless services Case Management.\nKnowledge and experience with HMIS and Client Track systems.\nAs a Billing Coordinator you will: \nResponsible for coordination of the Division’s billing system, processes and procedures. Maintain an accurate and up to date system to keep all Cen-Cal programs organized for on time billing.\nPrepares monthly summary reports for Division Director and Manager of Clinical Programs.\nAudits all chart notes prior to billing and keeps staff and supervisor apprised of coding issues.\nResponsible for weekly transmission of claims and Responsible for posting payments and rebilling.\nResponsible for training/updating all staff on Cen-Cal benefits coding and billing information entry in the electronic progress note.\nResponsible for assisting with training staff assigned to billing roles with Cen-Cal programming.\nMaintains records of EOB’s and other billing documents.\nWorks proactively with CAPSLO finance department to ensure that all billable activities are successfully claimed.\nPlease note this job advertisement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
