Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for the test, evaluation, integration, and troubleshooting of the HPC software stack and related system issues.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.\nThe individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience.\nAn industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.\nA Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience with the Linux CLI, and Linux tools\nExtensive recent experience using Bash/Python to develop scripts\nSolid understanding of the Slurm resource management and job scheduling tool\nExperience with integration, evaluation, and system administration of HPC systems\nExperience troubleshooting HPC system problems, including basic system administration tasks, including software stack issues and hardware issues\nExperience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Salt and Ansible\nFamiliar with HPC shared file systems such as Lustre, GPFS, and Panasas\nFamiliar with system monitoring tools such as Ganglia and Nagios\nFamiliar with acceleration technologies such as GPU, FPGA, and ASICs\nFamiliar with high-speed network interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand and Slingshot\nFamiliar with open-source industry-standard HPC benchmark tooling\nAbility to troubleshoot problems with a rigorous, analytical approach that enables diagnosis of root causes and discovery of mitigation/solution paths\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\nExperience supporting HPC large-scale systems and customers\n This position is open for direct hires only.
