Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level systems administrator who shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the compute, network, memory, and storage system components. In addition, the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. \nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nFifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required\nFive (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nA Security+ Certification is required\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI\nExperience developing scripts using Bash/Python\nExperience in performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environment\nGeneral technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components\nExperience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solution\nFamiliarity using Splunk for ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data\nExperience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution\nExperience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environments\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and Ansible\nExperience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures\nExperience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and Nagios\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes\nExperience with distributed files systems such as Weka, CEPH, GPFS, and HDFS\nExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence\n This position is open for direct hires only.
