Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level Information Systems Security Engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities on the program.\nResponsibilities\nSupports information security\nHelps create and enforce security policies and procedures, manage daily security operations, and maintains the system’s security posture.\nAssesses security risks and solutions for critical information, manages security settings for software, hardware, and firmware, and reviews the security impact of system changes.\nPrepares and reviews required security documents, including SSPs, risk assessments, C&A packages, and SRTMs.\nSupports system authorization under the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).\nUses Splunk to monitor security events, analyze logs, and support incident response.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nFive (5) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required\nExperience is to include at least one (1) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity or related discipline\nFour (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree\nDoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required\n This position is open for direct hires only.
