Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall serve as the primary customer-facing operations point of contact, managing request triage, gathering and scoping technical requirements, and providing standby support for ad-hoc critical thinking requests as directed by the mission customer.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.\nThe individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.\nAn industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.\nA Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience with Linux CLI\nExperience writing scripts using Shell/Bash/Python\nLinux administration experience including software integration, service management, configuration management, and routine sustainment operations related to provisioning, storage, and networking.\nExperience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages in a Linux environment\nExperience with stream/batch Big Data processing and analytic frameworks including Spark\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker\nExperience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration\nDemonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana\nExperience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\n This position is open for direct hires only.
