Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for supporting the team and mission services. The environment provides several containerized services that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a Kubernetes cluster. In this position, the Software Integration Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, assist customers using the systems and develop any required software for new functionality and services.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.\nThe individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.\nAn industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.\nA Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools\nExperience writing Bash/PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows\nRecent software development experience using Python and Java\nExperience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker\nExperience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes\nExperience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment\nExperience with interacting/training external customers\n This position is open for direct hires only.
