Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level systems administrator who will be assisting with daily responsibilities. \nResponsibilities\nYou will work on large mixed Contractor/Civilian, SA/SE team supporting DevOps and Live systems.\nSupported systems are Linux and Windows hard boxes and VM’s.\nYou will come in look at your monitoring, catch up on emails and your team Skype chat room for mission critical updates and hot issues then go to JIRA and start working off tickets.\nThe team supports 3 (diff classifications) of backend environment with Mission and Operations users and desktops so authentication, DNS, share drives and home directories and communications between all of it.\nAs this team is large and does a lot of Dev Ops work as well as live systems sustainment you will need to communicate well with lots of other SA’s, SE’s and NE’s spanning multiple contracts and with direct Civilian tasking and leadership.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in related technical discipline required.\nFifteen (15) years of experience providing System Administration support\nRequired Skills:\nLINUX Administration (to meet the years for the LCAT)\nSolid experience with STE/STN, DISA STIG compliance work on Linux systems\nStorage Management (CFS/DFS, NetApp..)\nVirtualization (Proxmox, RH KVM, VMWare…..)\nIP networking and Firewall exp.\nSome experience with Containers/Cloud environment\nDesired Skills:\nAutomation tools (Ansible, salt ..)\nScripting (bash, python, perl ..)\nBackup tools (Rubrik, NetBackup….)\nHyper Converged Infrastructure exp (Harvester, Nutanix, Cisco HyperFlex…)\n This position is open for direct hires only.
