Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who shall collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nSeven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required\nBachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required\nFive (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. \nRequired Skills:\nProficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools\nDemonstrated experience administering Linux systems\nExperience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks\nExperience with the Agency’s STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies\nFamiliar with basic Cisco switch configuration\nFamiliar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and container\nExperience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation\nDesired Skills:\nExperience administering Windows systems\nExperience with NetApp storage devices\nExperience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter\nExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence\n This position is open for direct hires only.
