Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level test engineer who shall be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and automating testing activities for software applications, middleware, and infrastructure deployed in High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments to validate system requirements. This position ensures the reliability, scalability, performance, security, and operational readiness of HPC systems.\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEight (8) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.\nBachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline form an accredited college or university is required\nFour (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using Linux CLI and Linux tools\nProficient using Bash/Python scripting for task automation\nStrong understanding of Linux system administration fundamentals\n3+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or validation experience in Linux environments\nExperience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems\nExperience integrating and testing REST APIs related to HPC systems\nDemonstrated experience in defect tracking and resolution processes\nExperience with software testing methodologies and test lifecycle management\nExperience developing automated test solutions and validation frameworks\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan\nExperience with Git Source Control System\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\nFamiliar with Splunk for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine generated data\nFamiliar with SAFe Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices\nExperience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible\n This position is open for direct hires only.
