The projects our team handles are high in volume and unique from one another, spanning throughout the whole course of design, procurement, coordination, and post-sale support. \nTypical tasks include: \nEstimated 50% to 75% of time spent in the field on job sites \nSupporting installations and equipment start ups to ensure high quality outcomes and adherence to engineering principles\nHandling complex troubleshooting issues\nCustomer service and coordination with all parties - CaptiveAire team, contractors, engineers, installers, CaptiveAire Service\n\nPrimary Job Responsibilities: \nA combination of being in the field working on job sites and data analysis and remote troubleshooting using building management system (travel required)\nProduct Support - Troubleshoot issues with existing and newly installed equipment in the field and provide immediate solutions\nMaintain expert level knowledge of all CaptiveAire products\nWork closely with engineering team, service team, local sales team and customers to help find best outcomes on installed jobs\nOn site for construction trade coordination meetings and startups to ensure a good outcome\nReview and analyze data gathered from installed equipment in order to make product improvements, utilizing our CASLink remote monitoring system\nUse mechanical building design knowledge to review applications for customers and suggest improvements in operation\nPerform 3rd party training for outside contractors on CaptiveAire products\nProvide reports to Regional Manager as well as other teams on customer feedback/challenges, quality, product improvements/issues\nRequired skills: \n0-5 yrs experience \n4 year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, construction or science-oriented curriculum preferred \nHands on, technical internship/co-op experience is preferred \nMust enjoy hands on product exposure\nHVAC and/or electrical experience strongly preferred\nMulti-tasking, problem solving and strong communication skills a must\nIf not already completed, expectation of FE Exam completion in area of study for engineering graduates within 6 months of employment with CaptiveAire\nMUST BE A “GO GETTER”!\nMust be able to travel for training\nBenefits:\nMedical, dental and vision insurance \nDisability & life insurance based upon election of medical insurance \n401k with employer match \nPaid holidays \nPaid time off (PTO) based upon tenure \nFlexible spending account (FSA) \nTuition reimbursement, including for Professional Engineering (PE) License \nRelocation assistance \nSalary:\n$70k-$100k base, negotiable dependent on experience, with additional monthly bonus based on productivity and profits. \nCaptive-Aire Systems, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
