Overview
WHO are we looking for?
CAPTRUST is seeking aProject Manager, Enterprise Initiatives to lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives across the firm. This role will coordinate project activities, manage timelines and deliverables, and partner with stakeholders to keep initiatives on track and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
This is a temporary assignment anticipated to last up to one year.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of firm-wide projects as well as collect, organize, and refine project requirements
- Maintain the product backlog with user stories and defects and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables
- Make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within scope and use analytical skills to identify and solve issues creatively
- Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and issues
- Conduct project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and help manage project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met
- Facilitate the resolution of project-related issues, resolve conflicts and escalate when necessary
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify areas for improving project management efficiency
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of applicable experience
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience in the investment industry
- Ability to handle multiple work streams and adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps
- QA/testing knowledge
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Understanding of CRM applications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and in an organized manner
- High standard of professionalism
